  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of 1/2 inch.
  3. In one bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Remove chicken and spoon marinara sauce over each piece; sprinkle mozzarella on top.
  7. Return to the air fryer and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
