- 1 Tablespoon Greek yogurt
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3–3 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 5 Tablespoons salted butter (softened)
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 5 ounces cream cheese
- 5 Tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 Tablespoon corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup blackberry filling (reserved from filling)
Instructions
- Prepare the blackberry filling by cooking blackberries with sugar, cornstarch, salt, and warm water until thickened. Allow to cool.
- Activate the yeast by combining it with warm water and sugar.
- In a mixing bowl, combine warmed milk, melted butter, yogurt, egg, salt, half the flour, and yeast mixture; mix until combined. Gradually add remaining flour to form a soft dough.
- Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter over it. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon; drizzle with reserved blackberry filling before rolling tightly.
