  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup brewed barley tea (or less to taste)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pre-made pie crust (10-inch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and corn syrup. Stir until melted and well mixed (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and cool for about 10 minutes.
