Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper; cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add more vegetable oil and stir-fry green beans for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Return chicken to skillet. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and optional red pepper flakes; pour over chicken and green beans. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through and sauce thickens slightly.
