  • 1 box DeLallo No-Boil Lasagna
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 ounces turkey strips
  • 24 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 ounces Italian cheese blend
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup apple vinegar
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 6 large cloves garlic
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary and thyme)
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, pulse chopped carrots, celery, and onion until finely minced.
  3. Cook the soffritto mixture in olive oil for about 4–5 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the turkey and garlic to the food processor; pulse until finely chopped.
  5. In the same pot, combine the browned turkey mixture with ground beef; cook until browned.
  6. Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, apple vinegar, and simmer for about 30 minutes.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, parmesan, and seasoning.
  8. Layer the lasagna: start with bolognese sauce at the bottom, followed by noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella cheese; repeat layers.
  9. Bake covered for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.
