  • 1 cup salted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 1/4 cups holiday M&M's
  • 1 cup crushed pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, dark brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and kosher salt; gradually mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in oats, M&M's (reserve some), crushed pretzels, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips.
  6. Roll dough into balls about 1/4 cup in size and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for approximately 8 minutes; rotate pan and add remaining M&M's on top before baking an additional 2-3 minutes until edges are golden.
  8. Cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
