  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick slices
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz Brie cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp recommended)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice with olive oil. Toast for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook cranberries for 3-4 minutes until they burst. Stir in honey or maple syrup and cook until slightly syrupy.
  4. Place a piece of Brie on each crostini and return to the oven for 3-4 minutes until Brie melts.
  5. Top with apple slices and cranberry mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
