  • 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (6-ounce) box of stuffing mix
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • Optional: 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: 1/2 cup frozen peas

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the chicken, cream soups, sour cream, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine the stuffing mix with melted butter and chicken broth; mix well.
  5. Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken layer; add cheese on top if desired.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  7. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
