- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 (6-ounce) box of stuffing mix
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- Optional: 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: 1/2 cup frozen peas
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix the chicken, cream soups, sour cream, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine the stuffing mix with melted butter and chicken broth; mix well.
- Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken layer; add cheese on top if desired.
- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
