Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl; gradually add to the wet mixture to form dough.
- Divide dough into two portions; roll each into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Brush melted butter over dough and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.
- Roll tightly into logs; wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice logs into ¼-inch rounds and place on parchment-lined baking sheets.
