  • 4 bone-in beef chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms (cremini or button)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the beef chops dry and season with salt and pepper.

  5. Return the beef chops to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and heat for an additional 2 minutes.
