- 44 Whoppers (for decoration)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In one bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and baking powder. In another bowl, cream together softened butter with both sugars until fluffy.
- Add egg, peanut butter, and vanilla; mix well. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients until combined.
- Scoop dough into balls, roll in granulated sugar, and place on prepared sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for approximately 8 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool slightly before transferring to a rack.
- For decoration: Melt chocolate chips and dip Whoppers in the chocolate; attach them to the center of each cookie as spider bodies. Use decorating gel to create legs and eyes.
