  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 large potatoes, cut into ½-inch cubes (1 pound)
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup green peas, frozen

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting it into 1-inch pieces and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 4–5 minutes until browned. Transfer to the slow cooker.
  3. Sprinkle flour, thyme, rosemary, and salt over the chicken; stir to coat.
  4. Add garlic, onion, carrots, potatoes, chicken broth, and bay leaf; mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours until everything is tender.
