  • 4 sub rolls or hoagie buns
  • ¼ lb turkey slices
  • ¼ lb chicken slices
  • ¼ lb turkey pepperoni or capicola
  • ¼ lb roast beef (optional)
  • 8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup banana peppers or pepperoncini, sliced
  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup Italian dressing
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice sub rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  2. Layer turkey, chicken, turkey pepperoni (and roast beef if using) in the rolls. Add cheese slices and top with banana peppers and red onion.
  3. Mix melted butter with Italian seasoning and garlic powder; brush over the tops of the rolls. Drizzle Italian dressing inside each sandwich.
  4. Wrap sandwiches in aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
  5. Unwrap carefully, slice if desired, and serve hot.
